PLEASE REGISTER EARLY FOR CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
No Classes on Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day.
Class enrollment is limited to 12 students due to limited space. Only pre-registered students will
be admitted in the class. The facilities at Pewabic Pottery are exceptional and serve to enhance the
educational program by providing high quality and diverse options for creating and firing ceramics.
Classes are educational based, therefore no commission work is allowed.

Pewabic makes every effort to make your registration as easy as possible. We will be happy to register your payments by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard.
WE REQUIRE FULL PAYMENT WITH YOUR REGISTRATION.

You are registered once payment is received. Registration is based on first come first served basis, therefore, early registration assures enrollment.
Pewabic Pottery does not send notification of registration - call if you want to confirm your enrollment. If there is insufficient enrollment, we will cancel the class, notify registered students and refund all payments or transfer you to another class if possible. Please register early or you might find your favorite class is full or conversely canceled because of low enrollment.
TUITION AND FEES
Class fee for adult classes is listed for each class. Fees for adult classes include
instruction, open studio time, clay, basic glaze materials, and firings. Tuition may not be pro-rated. Some
students may incur additional expenses if they choose unusual glaze materials or if their work occupies
a large volume of kiln space. Tools and text books may be purchased through Pewabic Pottery in the
Museum Store.
REFUNDS
There will be no refund for cancellations after workshop registration deadlines and three days after the first class.
OPEN STUDIO HOURS
In addition to regularly scheduled classes, Pewabic Pottery offers open studio
hours to its students.
A TOUR OF THE POTTERY WITH A HANDS-ON WORKSHOP
Available for groups of at least 10, this program is appropriate
for age 4 to adult. Pewabic Hands-On Workshop features the
opportunity to create your own clay tile in our Education Studio.
Each workshop includes a tour of the Pottery, a National Historic
landmark and Michigan’s only Arts & Craft era pottery. Cost is $15
per person. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. A $45 non-refundable
deposit is required to place a reservation. The remaining balance
is due upon arrival. For scheduling, please call the Education

WORK EXCHANGE
Are you a ceramic student looking for a home? Pewabic Pottery offers a work exchange program for students with ceramic experience who desire a studio and have more time and energy than money. If interested, please contact us at 313-822-0954 ext. 113.

TILE MURAL PROJECT
