Gallery Associate
Part-time 24 hours per week
As a member of the Retail team, provide excellent customer service while handling the day to day operations of the Gallery store. High school degree required with some college preferred. 1-3 years retail experience necessary. Basic computer skills, cash register required. Art background helpful.
Individual should possess excellent organizational skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to multi-task and prioritize changing priorities. Self motivated with attention to details. Use diplomacy and tact when interacting with Pottery staff and the public.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to assisting customers with purchases. Maintaining gallery displays and shelving to present an orderly and professional appearance. Assisting visitors and supporting staff on special events as needed.

Pewabic Pottery seeks qualified individuals with background in ceramic arts to work in our fabrication studio. All Pewabic tiles & vessels are handmade in our historic facility for our Museum Store, wholesale customers as well as custom commercial and residential clients. A ceramics degree or equivalent experience in the work place preferred.
Full time positions include benefits and artist studio space. Part-time opportunities with flexible schedule also available.
